Question 6 for your Tarot Reader

Posted on

Is the Message in the Cards, or in your Head?

This is a valid question. As the world stage is flooded with new tarot decks, as many decks as there are coffee shops in Melbourne, I understand why you would ask this.

In more traditional decks, the cards are full of symbolism, astrological references, numerological references, the Kabbalah, all sorts of esoteric systems.

The modern approach is to read ‘intuitively’ like a sort of art appreciation course where truth is in the interpretation of the beholder, a form of narrative story telling that speaks directly to the subconscious of the person for whom you are reading.

This releases the constraints on intuition for sure, yet is can be a shallow experience if this is all the reader does.

The cards most definitely do contain the message. I have been astounded by their ability to accurately identify the situations, and then go on to provide insightful advice). However, they would lie dormant and silent if there was not an interpreter present.

That is where the ‘in my head’ part of the question comes in. I act as the interpreter, as I know the language they are speaking. I have learned it patiently over time, so it is ‘in my head’ in the sense of acquired knowledge. It is also ‘in my head’ in the sense that there is no one meaning for any one card and they will give their message by the connections, placement, whether reversed or upright; they have many ways to communicate and this is where intuition truly kicks in.

The connection I make to Spirit and to you is one that allows information that on a human level I could not possibly know, to come through to you and I know when this is happening because I receive confirmation in my physical body (often in the form of arm hairs standing on end) and in my Spirit, with a calm YES. It always resonates as truth with the person for whom I am reading which is a third confirmation that Truth is coming through.

So in summary: the answer is both 🙂

Question 7 for your Tarot Reader

7.  Are you a priest or a fortune teller?

That is a complex question and I don’t use either terms to describe myself.

A priest is usually a go between, a mediator, so in that regard, yes, it would be understandable to think of me in that way. Like a priest, I have studied for many years to reach the level of understanding I now have. However, my intention is more to hook you back up with your own Higher Self and your own intuitive knowing, than to remain the go between.  I would describe myself as more a tour guide I think; a local who knows the territory and is a good map reader 🙂

Am I a fortune teller?

Sure, I can look at the cards and let you know what is ahead on your current trajectory but that is all. The future changes with every decision you make, narrowing down a million possibilities with each choice you make along the way.

3. Are Your Predictions Accurate and is Accuracy Important To You?

(Photogrophy by Tara Acie)

Firstly a work about predictions: I do not make them. In a world of sliding doors, you are the creator of your life. You create it step by step with every choice you make. There are multiple possible timelines, all of which exist simultaneously. You access them with the choices you make. I will however, tell you the likely outcome of your current course and advise you of what energies you are working with and this information will be very accurate.

Accuracy is essential to me. If I do not achieve accuracy, then I am wasting your time and mine. I am extremely accurate, even when supplied with very cryptic questions.

I have completed over 80 free readings through the Biddy Tarot Community’s Free Tarot Reading platform. Of these 80 + readings, only three were not given 5 star rating for accuracy and these, I followed up until I reached 100% even though, because I was providing a free service I was under no obligation to enter in this follow up work.

The other aspect of accuracy is its meaningfulness to you. My intention is to provide you with useful, even life changing information from our session/s together and I am not satisfied until you are.

When my clients ask how I could possibly know what I know, I say I don’t. I pass on the words that come to me from Spirit.
