How much time, energy and attention we pay to that which is visible! We maintain, restore and renovate our bodies and our homes. We trot off to the hairdresser, the barber, the beautician, the dentist, we pay attention to our appearance and buy new clothes as required (or desired), we exercise our bodies and attend to our nutrition.
We wander around hardware stores, planning, researching, purchasing…we mow our lawns, weed our gardens, all quite unquestioningly.
We do not routinely stop to look at what is going on inside us, or at how our souls are faring. Life disconnects our spirit from Spirit.
Nothing external matters if our internal word is in chaos, hurting, falling apart, run down and neglected.
